Emby apps try to direct play AV1

That's because Emby for Android tries to decode AV1 on the Shield and not on the Server if you don't set the appropiate option in the app settings.

The reason for you CPU coolers ramping up, is the Emby will then fall back to CPU to transcode it.

Might have to avoid AV1 formats going forward.

I’ve been experiencing this same issue with AV1 media and my AppleTV. It would be great if I could force Emby to transcode AV1 media on my server rather than have the AppleTV stutter while trying to do it in software.
