Indycars 2 Posted January 5, 2025 Posted January 5, 2025 For no apparent reason Emby would not play live TV. I got the following message. I click on "Get Emby Premiere", then I get the following message. Click on "Already Paid?" If I go to the Server Dashboard/Emby Premiere, the Emby Premiere key is there so I click on "Save". I get the following message. I pay by the month and it's an automatic reoccurring payment. I've included the server log file. Rick embyserver.txt

Do you know what times/dates the above screenshots were taken so I can compare to the timestamps in the server log you attached What does the dashboard Emby Premiere screen show at the bottom - where it says "Status" ? Why are you still on an old release? You are running 4.8.8.0 but the current general release is 4.8.10.0 - see https://emby.media/qnap-server.html And what does the Server Dashboard Live TV screen show on the setup page ? eg when you select refresh guide You could enable debug logging on the server - see https://emby.media/support/articles/Log-Files.html and restart the server and go through Refresh Guide in server settings for Live TV and if that fails or you fail to access Live TV channels, get screenshot, note down the time and collect the server log and attach Does the same happen if you use the new Emby for Windows App ? - Emby in the Windows Stotr. Or other clients
Indycars 2 Posted January 6, 2025 Author Posted January 6, 2025 Sorry I deleted the graphics after posting. I deleted all but the last 10 digits from the key, didn't think it should be posted publicly. I didn't find where it said Status, but bellow came from Dashboard/Emby Premiere. The key number is exactly what I get in an email every month. But I still tried the "Forgot Key" and copied and posted that key in the email, but that did not change anything. I did upgrade the server to 4.8.10 after posting, but no help there either. I set the debug logging to yes and restarted the emby server at 15:50, then proceeded to try Live TV, there was no change. I didn't take any screen shots because they were all the same as above. I've tried Emby on my Samsung TV, Web Interface and Windows, all three get the same error. I have refreshed the guide yesterday and today, it seems to go OK, I saw the progress bar briefly and then it went away. I've tried different clients also, no difference. Rick embyserver.txt

The screenshot you attached is for an invalid key - I don't need you to attach a screenshot with your key - just confirmation that it was saved with the right full length key If you have access to shell on the QNAP you could do a cat on this file to see if it does contain the full key /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/programdata/config/mb.lic

Did that email say the key was valid or that it had expired? Your log indicates either the key is expired or entered incorrectly. My guess is that your PayPal email address changed and a new key has been sent to that new email address.

There is no status like you show on either one. My Emby Premiere page is shown below. My PayPal account shows a payment on2024-12-30 for $4..99. Suggest you email billingsupport@emby.media and have the issue looked into for you

Email is shown below and same graphic as above for SA2000. Jy Yes my primary email address has changed, but I still got the email shown at a second address for PayPal. My PayPal account shows a payment on 2024-12-30 for $4..99 for Emby. Does this not show my payment was made to Emby??? Rick

Please use that email address in the lost key feature to retrieve it and replace it in your server. It appears to be the same email as you have on this forum account and I can see that the key is different from the fragment you provided before.
