TVTech 7 Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 (edited) I want to switch over from Jellyfin to Emby but what's keeping me from doing so, among other things, is that Emby has a "mixed nuts" approach when it comes to the "More like this" section for each title. All of my media are in their own folder with artwork images and nfo file which contains ONLY the metadata that I want displayed. For example I don't put multiple genres on a movie or show. It is either action, adventure, animation, comedy, sitcom etc. On Jellyfin they recommend movies and shows based on that metadata criteria only. On Emby it seems they consider other aspects of the metadata which causes the "More like this" list to be populated with movies and shows that bear little similarites to each other in terms of genre. For example I don't want to see live action movies being recommended with animated movies, and tv shows being recommended with movies. Is there a way to get Emby to create the "More like this" list based on content type and genre in the nfo metadata only? Edited January 3, 2025 by TVTech
