Hi everybody,

I had to move my emby server and since the move, Emby drives me nutz.

Even though I think my library settings are correct, everytime a  new file is added, it messes with my collections.

Removes items from self-created collections, doubles collections....

Does anyone see a misconfiguration ?

Doubled collection entry:

Both having identical metadata

EDIT: German collections mostly are doubled with an english pendant

"Drachenzähmen leicht gemacht Filmreihe" -> "How to train a dragon collection"

Ei Gude, I had a similar issue when moving my content to a new installation.

You currently import the metadata from the NFO and let TMDB create the collections. I guess that you still have collection information in the nfo files from the recent Emby server, and as the names differ, also the new collections from TMDB.

Collection information gets saved to the NFO if activated.

Ei Gude du Goldstück,

thats the solution, I'm scraping metadata with TMM. I deactivated write to NFO in Emby now and scraped all collections in TMM and

rewrote those NFO files for the movies.

Did a new scan on the library.

Yes you have to look at the items from within the collections to see what <set> nodes are written for the collection as that is what Emby is reading from item nfo file.
