Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 Hi, after a restore from synology to qnap i have on one library duplicate items (on others 3 libraries not that problems..that is strange) Ill put pics to explain better, I've already run all tasking things related to scan, refresh, etc. on library and metadata but nothing fixed it. Anyone can help? The only solution for now is to re identify manual 1x1 element (maybe it will be overwritten correctly in this way), if i do massive library scan no working.
Luke 42077 Posted January 6, 2025 Posted January 6, 2025 Hi there, how many Emby libraries are configured, and what folder paths are added to each one? Quote after a restore from synology to qnap Also, how did you do this?
Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 6, 2025 Author Posted January 6, 2025 In the Anime section just 1; and i did restore like usually did on Synology, mapped folders on qnap unit, moved compressed backup on new path on qnap, reimport all then run metafolder\media scan. The doubt is maybe synology save file attribute different way than qnap? The data of item seem different, dunno if restore put another date and then database memorized two version of every item. Strange is that only this libray is involved All the rest is fine and i have all data back.
Luke 42077 Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 Quote In the Anime section just 1 Hi, so this is the only library on the server?
Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 9, 2025 Author Posted January 9, 2025 No no, in total I have 7 libraries.. 5 of data 1 of playlist and 1 of recording. Just 1 library have that problem so far

Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 HI, what version of Emby Server are you running?
Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 15, 2025 Author Posted January 15, 2025 Hi Luke, i was on the latest stable on December, when I've opened this post I was already on 4.9.0.35 beta. I've tried to update to see if the problem would have gone.
Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2025 Posted January 15, 2025 How did you migrate from one platform to the other?
Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 15, 2025 Author Posted January 15, 2025 Installed clean server on qnap and imported from backup of synology, rescanned all and nothing much more if I remember well: all went more or less without pain. The server version of backup and of the new installation were the same obviously to omit problems.
Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 15, 2025 Author Posted January 15, 2025 I think I've removed the check here..and then run the restore, corrected the path to new in library and rescanned all. More or less what I remember is this.
Ninja_Gundam 14 Posted January 15, 2025 Author Posted January 15, 2025 I think I've added the new path, removed the old one and scanned for new items: for others libraries worked, maybe in that one something went wrong i dunno Is there a way to clear metadata just for a library or edit the root path to change with new one and redo scan ? would be much easier.
Luke 42077 Posted January 20, 2025 Posted January 20, 2025 Hi, one thing you could try is removing the anime library altogether, completing a library scan to clean out the database, and then adding it back.
