vincen 71 Posted January 2, 2025 Posted January 2, 2025 Hi I'm trying to install Emby Theater on a Pi4 but so far no luck. I have flashed the special 3.0.21 image from emby website, flashed it on a sd and booted the Pi4 with it. It boots properly (Pi is wired on network with dhcp) and then ends up on a console asking for login/pass as a regular linux boot. I thought it was supposed to boot automatically straight in Emby Theater no ? How do I proceed from there ? I waited few minutes just in case it needed to download some updates online before it finishes to boot but nothing else happens. Nothing on support website about linux/raspberry version Thanks for help, Vincèn
Luke 42077 Posted January 3, 2025 Posted January 3, 2025 HI, truthfully while this is all being revamped, you're probably best off with something like the debian package on the pi. But keep an eye out for this: 1

Hi Luke Thanks for your suggestion but it's not a good one as the Linux player is broken I'm in the test already I just don't get the point out of getting all people that try it fed up with Emby to keep online on website some images that don't work ! Emby is really managed like a commercial software that promises a lot but is just full of disappointment Vincèn
