Is it possible to add time offset on EPG?

When I record my favorite episodes, it always starts before the episodes started, so when I record I am missing part of the begining, and I get the part of my episode + I get the episode which is streamed next in the schedule.

If this is not possibility, any other ideas would be great to match the time with the Stream and EPG.
