Recorded TV Not Available in Emby

Hi,

I'm trying to set up Emby as a DVR.  I have a HD HomeRun, and the recorded files are being stored in a share on my QNAP NAS.  From Emby, I can watch Live TV, and record shows.  The shows are being saved in the share as expected, but from within Live TV, the Recordings tab has "No items found".

I have set up a "Recordings" library with Mixed Content for the share.

Interestingly that Recordings library does not appear in My Media.

Everything seems to be working, except being able to playback the recorded shows.  Any ideas?

Does your user have access to the library?

Settings -> Server -> Users -> Access -> Library Access -> Libraries....

Well, I was hoping it would be a simple solution, but that was a tad embarrassing.  Yep, all fixed.  Thanks so much for the help!

gth, not really obvious, no shame here!

@Luke shouldn’t this be removed if the user doesn’t have access to it? Or at least better message telling them they need to contact the admin for access? instead of ''No items found' ?

🙂  Thanks.  Another suggestion would be to lead the user to the Access page after you create the new library (or at least a message to say don't forget to give the users access).

As it turns out, my account was the only one that didn't have "Enable access to all libraries" ticked, so if I tried one of the kids accounts, it would have worked... No idea why I unselected that for me.
