Betonhaus 18 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Would it be possible when you get the "Please restart the server to finish applying updates." notice, you could tell it to reboot at a certain time or to reboot after some inactivity?

zaHrecsohbiw 14 Posted February 28, 2025 Posted February 28, 2025 Does this apply to DVR live tv recordings? That is not my experience. It would be nice if, when I select "Restart Emby Server", and a recording is active, a dialog should pop up that informs the admin that a recording is in progress, with perhaps a "Restart Anyway" option alongside OK.

Hi, the automated restart does check if a recording is in progress.

I misremembered an issue with an interrupted recording/a manual restart. I just checked now and I did get a warning about an active recording. Apologies for not checking first. 1
