_AESOP_ 2 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I have recently transitioned from Plex to Emby and am experiencing playback issues on the Emby IOS (iphone)App. The error is "Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available. Please try again later or contact your system administrator when trying to watch TV shows on my Iphone on my Local LAN. This error does not show when accessing the files remotely and the show plays correctly. Can confirm that the Emby IOS app has the access to local network enabled within the Iphone settings This error is only for files located in TV Shows, Files in Movies play fine when on local network. I can play these files via a chome browser on local devices (including the same Iphone) can also play these files on a IPad with the Emby IOS app on the local network. Emby server version = 4.8.10.0 Emby for IOS 2.2.33 complete logs attached fresh after sever restart and a failed attempt from Iphone app embyserver (1).txt
Carlo 4560 Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 Hi, In your logs I see this: Debug HttpServer: InitRemoteConnectionInfo - ipAddressFromHeaders: host5 Debug HttpServer: InitRemoteConnectionInfo - rejecting ipAddressFromHeaders as on local network Are you running a proxy or reverse proxy server?
_AESOP_ 2 Posted January 1, 2025 Author Posted January 1, 2025 Yes, reverse proxy is being used in this environment.

_AESOP_ 2 Posted January 4, 2025 Author Posted January 4, 2025 I am using synology reverse proxy. what is interesting I can watch content from the movie library, just can’t watch from the tv library. I have now resolved the issue by removing and re-adding the library. 2
