Unable to unlock Fire TV app/Purchase Emby Premiere

I should have been on a 7 day free trial, but when trying to play media I started getting a “Free Playback Device Limit exceeded. Contact your system administrator” error message.

 

I went to unlock the app in the app itself and no option is presented to purchase the app other than subscribing to Emby Premiere. When I choose to subscribe it again prompts me to contact my system administrator.

 

when I go to my mobile emby app, it have me the option to purchase the unlock there and can play media from my mobile apps

I’ve got the same issue as you. Works all good after paying £5 on my app but on fire tv is just gives the same errors as you

Same with me. That link sent doesn’t help at all. Works on my app and bought premiere but still says to ‘ensure you’ve setup emby premiere in your emby server dashboard l, which you can access by clicking Emby premiere within the main menu’. But that option isn’t available

Are you using your own server or someone else's?

Someone else’s. I was able to unlock on my phone app to be able to watch media there but not given the option to unlock on Fire TV

They have told me to unlock the fire tv app, which again I can’t do.
