mammt 5 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 (edited) Hello, The search feature should have some enchantments. Currently, the search system is very strict with exact matches, which leads to situations where some movies or shows aren’t displayed unless the exact formatting is used. For example: Searching for "spiderman" yields no results, but searching "spider-man" works as expected. Searching for "starwars" shows no results, but "star wars" displays all relevant content. Similarly, if i search for "Storia d inverno" or "Storia inverno" it shows no result, but "Storia d'inverno" it shows the movie correctly. Could the search algorithm be updated to handle these cases? i think an algorithm to get the % of the similarity beetwen 2 texts should be used to handle such cases (something like FuzzySharp) thanks! Luke 42077 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Hi, so this is all related to spaces and being able to search with or without them?
