Trailers not playing.

Hi,

I've tried many trailers, but none of them plays. (error 403)

If i try to go directly to https://cl2.buscafs.com/www.metatube.com/public/uploads/videos/446812_mp4.mp4, I have a cloudflare captcha to solve, so I guess the same thing happens on the server.

Here is the log from the server (Shield):

Hi, that's odd. Are you behind a vpn? that url seems to be working just fine in my testing.

No, just pihole but disabling it does nothing.

On my 5G network on my smartphone, I also got it, so it's not related to my local setup.

Hi, are you still having an issue with this?

OK. Can you try it again?

I'm afraid it's still the same:

I've tried the direct URL at work and same captcha issue.
So it is not working for these IPs, both from belgium:
193.74.183.91
144.178.233.91

  • 144 is fine

This hardly helps.  The connectivity test to run should be via VPN in Belgium or from the user directly.  Anyway, ping and traceroute blocks don't mean that much.  Suspect something else in user's config or firewall is blocking, or maybe youtube trailers have some limits for embedded playback in Belgium?

I don't think it's a firewall issue.

It's happening on 3 separate devices, that are on different ISP, and one is my phone over a 5G connection.

It's only happening with metatube. I can go on the website, but I have to fill this captcha EVERY time. And that captcha is most likely the cause of the 403 error on emby.

This is on my phone, no VPN, and no firewall. It's really filtering all belgian IPs.

I can confirm that I have the same issue as thepilot.

I also get the "Server returned 403 Forbidden (access denied)" for the trailer urls from https://cl2.buscafs.com/ in my logs.

Directly going to the url also presents me with a cloudflare captcha.

I'm also accessing from Belgium.
