[Music] Updating meta data + album art on server if files get updated

Dear developers,

I have just found an issue with the synchronising of music meta data and album or track art. I have various old albums on my server for which I have added proper ID3 tags and a proper album art (to the folder itself as "folder.jpg" and to each single mp3 file as cover art. The problem now is that the new information is not updated on the emby server meta data or album art. Instead the old information is still saved and displayed.

How can I force Emby Server to updated the stored information in the database to use the proper new id3 information and album arts?

Hi, did you try running a library scan after editing the files?

No but I noticed that there is a new function called "Update metadata" when rightclicking an album or folder, and that one does the job. It wasn't there before so thanks for adding it in the past
