On the Philips tv, can you please check the playback mode for the same file. Is it DirectPlay, or transcoding?

 

Are there any ffmpeg log files for the Philips tv?

Yes on TV philips (model 43PUS8517/12)  DirectPlay... no log

Another friend of mine is experiencing problems as well on Samsung TV.

Same symptoms, just loading circle and nothing happens. No log either because of direct play.

@Hispanico957can you please try disabling hardware transcoding on the server and retry playback?  Thanks.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SOLVED thank SamES

I disable all hardware transcoding see my 2 screenshot and all movies also 4K work fine

P.S.

Just a little clarification, my friend besides samsung it has as said above a TV philips where it has Emby Android.

Is it better to create 2 different users one with transcoding activated and the other not ?

HI, you don't need to uncheck those options because Emby will already try to direct play whenever possible. There is nothing you need to do to force that.

Awesome, thanks for confirming. @softworkz, we should work out why hardware transcoding is not working for this system. Can you please confirm if there are any obvious issues from the previous logs?
