Emby Android App - No connection, Not Open?

After using the Emby Android app at home, I was away and just noticed it will not open without a connection to the server. 

I was hoping and thinking it would cache the media thumbnails so that the library would be visible. Like Yatse does with Kodi. 

I know I could open it up for remote access, but prefer not to at this time. 

So if you have no connection, the app is "useless?" Don't mean to suggest it is not good.

You can download media for offline viewing but otherwise without a connection to the server you won't see anything. 

Otherwise you could submit a feature request for the functionality you're looking for.
