garyalex 2 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I just installed Emby on my Synology NAS. In setting up the library I selected a folder on that drive containing my movies. After completing the scan in addition to those files Emby is displaying movies I don't own and don't want. Where did they come from and how can I get rid of them? Thanks.

Do they correspond to item titles?
garyalex 2 Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 I tried to play one of those titles which, by the way, is shown 6 times. The error message was that "no compatible streams are currently available". I'm not sure this one is a misidentification. Edit Metadata shows it as a movie called " 5 Pattern Dragon Claws". When I tried to delete it I got an error message: Access to the path '/volume1/@appstore/Node.js_v20/usr/local/lib/node_modules/npm/node_modules/node-gyp/node_modules/cacache/node_modules/glob/dist/mjs/pattern.d.ts' is denied. There are many other titles I've never seen before. I'll have to install a metadata plugin. There's a lot of cleanup to be done.
garyalex 2 Posted December 24, 2024 Author Posted December 24, 2024 I think I figured it out. User error. Thanks for the help.

garyalex 2 Posted December 24, 2024 Author Posted December 24, 2024 Wrong file path. As was suggested looking at the path in metadata helped me to figure out what I'd done wrong. 2
