Ashleyyyy 0 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I'm running Emby (4.8.10.0) on my Windows 10 PC. In the Emby (3.4.20) app on my Android 12 phone, I connected to my 4k Chromecast With Google TV (model GZRNL) and played a few titles that give me issues. I've attached my log file. The last 3 movies I played are all h.265 and those seem to be the only ones it struggles with (no issues with h.264). Some I can not get to start at all, but I can not find those movies anymore in my library - maybe the severity of the issue has improved with a Chromecast or Emby update and they no longer crash and just do this instead, or maybe I deleted those movies, but I did find 3 that demonstrate my problem: When I played The Five-Year Engagement, Tropic Thunder, and The People vs Larry Flynt and used the fast-forward/rewind/seek buttons and progress bar, the end result is that the audio is out of sync, the lips don't match. Sometimes the movie just starts over from the beginning like if I hit forward twice in a row or seek too much, it's like it just chokes. Can someone help me out? I've been struggling with this for years now with two different Chromecasts. I've used other media servers but I came back to Emby where I'd like to stay if possible as I've had the least problems.
