barbosa78 1 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Hi guys. I recently copied about 6 movies completely diferente and unrelated, and after scanning to identify, I didn't see most of it on the most recent. Turns out there was on movie, that had a lot of version, and all the other unrelated movies are "inside". How can I fix this? Thank you.
Neminem 1518 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I would check you naming Movie Naming I use this for my movies 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) {TmdbId-333371} and file in folder 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) {TmdbId-333371}.mkv
barbosa78 1 Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 The names are all good, all unrelated, that's why I don't understand why Emby put all of them as different versions of the same movie. Please check image for better understanding. Thank you.
Neminem 1518 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Can you show us a screenshot of your folder layout.
Neminem 1518 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 OK thats your issue, all movies are not a folder of there own. Your are confusing Emby, with the way you are doing it. Movie Naming I have it like this. Movies --- 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) {TmdbId-333371} -------- 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) {TmdbId-333371}.mkv -------- 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) {TmdbId-333371}.en.srt -- another movie (2000) {TmdbId-xxxxxx} -------- another movie (2000) {TmdbId-xxxxxx}.mkv etc etc 1
barbosa78 1 Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 Thank you very much! I will redo all the structure. Happy Holidays.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Flat structure is supported but not recommended as it can run into more issue/quirks than each movie in their own folder. 1
