Recursive TV ratings

Hi Luke,

Running latest Emby beta. I wrote before that I use the Vantage-Point plugin to show ratings bumpers for movies and TV shows, which works perfectly.

However the plugin is not recursive. So what that means is you have a TV show that could have a rating at the "top" level, but individual seasons and episode entries may not have ratings.

It is my understanding that this plugin is no longer being updated..... so is it possible to have Emby assign the rating on the library scan and recursively apply that "down the tree" for seasons and episodes so the Vantage bumpers play properly?

I will guess you want this script as Season/Episode inherits Show/Series if not present but will guess plugin is looking of explicit values.

Overall issue for Emby to just do this is Episode can be different then Show/Series.
