Please add "Go to show" menu option on Next Up TV

I find it I fall asleep with auto play on and I want t

 

o go back and watch an episode I've missed I have to search for the show. It would be so much easier if I could just click on "Next Up" and go directly directly to the series.

Also, could an option be added for auto-play without the popup? I find that on my Shield even if I have "Play next episode Automatically" checked and "Show up next preview" unchecked it will just stop playback after one episode.

In the Next Up episode. I was thinking if in  the drop-down menu a "Go to  show" option could be added? That way if during auto-play I go too far it would be easier to find the last episode I missed.

Thanks for the picture.  If you install the standard app I believe you will have that option by clicking on the show name.

I can't use the standard app, it says I need to pay for it (even though I own the Android TV app). Honestly if you own one you should automatically own the other.

Anyways that feature would be nice to have on the Android TV app.

Odd. I can use the standard Android app just fine on my phone but if I try to use it on my Shield it asks for payment. This is 3.4.2.0

I'm pretty sure I was able to use both the standard and Android TV apps on my 2019 Shield Pro at one time. The only thing I can think that might be causing this is that I am using the latest Shield hotfix firmware 9.1.2 (33.2.0.252).

I honestly don't remember, Google Play doesn't specify but as I said I'm  pretty sure I used the standard Android version on my Shield when I was deciding which version I wanted to use.

Most likely I bought it on my PC.

It's still saying I have to buy Emby Premier to unlock features even though I already purchased the Android TV app. This is on the standard Android app 3.4.34 on my 2019 Shield Pro. I can't even skip an intro.

HI, the in-app unlocks are for basic playback. Intro Skipping requires Emby Premiere. We work very hard on Emby and we thank you for your support.

I already paid for the Android TV version. You mean to tell me I have to pay separately for the Android version as well? If I don't need the extended features like tv tuner or encoding why would I? Every single Android app I've paid for includes both the Android and Android TV versions. I'm trying to support you guys but for me to pay $7 a month for features I don't need seems pointless. 

If that's the case I might as well just use the Emby Kodi add-on which costs me nothing.

Hi.  You only paid for playback in that app.  The feature you mentioned is, and always has been, Premiere-only.

I guess I wasted $5. I'll just use the Emby server with Kodi, that way I have all the features including skipping intro.

Why not at least offer features that can be found elsewhere for free?
