kempa007 0 Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Hi there, I am tring to figure out way Emby serves photos with different resolutions on my TVs. I have four Sony TVs. They are from different years and are different models, but theay all shoud without problem displayed photos with high resolution. The problem is that two of them seems to display orginal photos with great quality, and two of them display thubnails (I think so) at 640x480 resoulution and then upscale them to fit the entire screen, so the effect is not nice. Can you help me why some of the TVs display lower resolution? In Log file I can see that on every TV Emby is loaded with default profile.
Luke 42077 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Hi, what TV displays the lower resolution? The older or newer models?
kempa007 0 Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 Hi, I reinstalled emby and thought it all works perfectly. All tvs showed good resolutuon of the photos. But now, when tried to check it, all went back to low resolition, so I think to hi res photos where deliverd by emby only until thumbs were create. When thumbs are done all tvs show low-res photos. Why you just can't make thumbs for video or if you need that for photos too why you serve them when tv shows only one item on screen. How to change that? It is ridicoulus.
