Clicking on Cast & Crew member does not open the page

Since the new Emby app update and iOS 18.2. When clicking on a Cast & Crew member (the actors / Cast & Crew that are displayed on the movie page), the Cast & Crew specific page for that "actor" does not open in some cases. The back and/or forward arrows appear and when clicked again, the page does open.

So when the back and/or forward arrows for the Cast & Crew are not displayed (it seems out of focus), clicking on a Cast & Crew member does not open the specific page. The first click returns the focus (for a better word an observation) and then you need to click again on the Cast & Crew member to actually open the page.

HI there, can you please show a screenshot example? Thanks.

Hi Luke, here are the requested screenshots:

1.png:  note the missing "more arrow" on the right. When clicking on Dennis Quaid (as an example), nothing happens. Well the "more arrow" appears (screenshot 2.png)...

2.png: "more arrow" is visible, when clicking on any of the Cast & Crew members, that page opens.

Hi Luke,

Just to let you know that this is not only as described above, but also on other screens. For example the Home screen (main screen with latest ..., etc.). Where you click on a movie and you need click twice.

Hi Luke,

Any news on this issue? I saw that in the last update several other issues were fixed, but this issue still remains. Selecting a movie from a row, takes 2 tries. First to enable the row and the second one to actually select.

@Happy2Play are you still able to reproduce?

I am going to say no but only have iPhone to test with as OP mentioned and image shows getting the scroll arrows I don't get on the touch screen.

Even tested in all display modes Auto/Desktop/Mobile-Tablet/TV

iOS 2.2.34

It is basically on every horizontal row (movies, authors, etc.) on every screen that uses that functionality on my iPad (Pro 13" M1 fully updated). On my iPad when there are more options than fit the screen, the first tab or swipe shows the arrow key(s) and the second tab actually opens either the movie or the author. I cannot reproduce this on my iPhone either (arrows are not show and the author or movie page opens immediately). So when the row is "activated" (so arrow(s) are shown) it behaves as expected.
