Browsing "Tags"

I utilize TAG's for various reasons.  In the past I have been pleased with how fast items are displayed.  The new app has made TAG's unusable for me.  Browsing them is extremely slow.  When I first tried them I thought they just weren't working.  However I noticed after a prolonged period they eventually populate on the screen.  I was hoping the slowness would be only the first time loading them in however that is not the case.  It is painfully slow for all tags each and every time.  Clicking the tags in the web interface displays items almost instantly.  Any ideas why this is happening?

So to sum up it works great in web, but not in this app

Well any way if its only in 1 app its not working proper.
