Actor's filmography disappeared

The actors' filmographies have disappeared. There used to be a list of works they appeared in when you clicked on a person, but these have disappeared.

That would suggest every movie's metadata no longer has this actor in it.

But yes a specific Movie example to include the nfo file if you write nfo files if not then will need the library setup showing enabled providers and provider order.  And the server log to see if there are potential errors.

The top picture is Windows (EMBY THEATER).

There were no issues until a few weeks ago. I tested on Android, iPad, iPhone, and Windows (EMBY THEATER), Chrome web. As a result, there are issues on iPhone and Windows (EMBY THEATER), but other devices work well."

Seeing the same thing in Emby Theater version 3.0.20

In the new app installed via Windows store I don't have a issue.

version 2.201.1.0

I don't own a iPhone so can't test that.

But on windows you can install the new Emby app from the windows store, as Emby Theater is getting deprecated.

Yes there is something going on in some clients and it is server version dependent also as it doesn't work in 4.8 but works in 4.9.x.x.

 

 

So we know now Desktop ET 3.0.20.0 and new iOS 2.2.33 are having issues with linked media via People in 4.8.x.x.
