SSL / Remote issues - secure site not available

Hello to all,

 

I'm having a good bit of trouble setting my current windows edition of emby server to access remotely.  While I've succeeded - in part- I'm seeing https secure site not available errors for forwarded port 8096 (unable to get 8920 / 8921 to forward or show up... maybe related to my overall situation..?) with ssl configured.  I used ZeroSSL to get my cert and had issues / may still have issues with error messages about bio routines / connect errors. 

Anyone out there have experience with this type of port issue - or is it an ssl related issue..?  Sorry for so little info, happy to elaborate, don't want to ramble. 

It feels like there's a setting or something I've missed or have wrong: unable to forward 8920 and it appear 8096 is http traffic , which doesn't seem right but I'm not real experienced with this type of setup.  Not sure where to start unraveling this and greatly appreciate some guidance!
