@LukeAny news about this annoying "back key closing the app" situation? I still use the "old" theatre because on that. If I use the new app my wife is calling me at least twice a week because she accidently closed the app. Is it so hard to implement this???

When you don't see the row, you probably have TV mode enabled (Settings >> Display >> Display Mode).

In TV mode, there's no such row, because the app is expected to be full-screeen anyway (most of the time = no need to switch frequently).

Hehe, thank you. It 's the tv mode - I have  enabled this option.

 

I have played around with the Screen control. I have setup the screen control to automatically change refresh rate and to return to the default refresh rate. It works without problems. I have also setup the screen to activate HDR, but that doesn't work. I have a HDR video and it works in madvr setup.  My setup consists of "2 screens", my oled display and surround receiver. The videoplayer is set to high quality.

My expectation is that when a hdr video is played, emby will change the signal to tv and the tv will show the HDR logo. Is my expectation correct?

Have asked this before (I think) and been answered, but how do I get rid of the OSD second row stuff - the Info, On Now, Guide stuff, when its on screen ?

The text size option (that the legacy version has) hasn`t yet been implemented but its on the todo list for future updates.

That said when in TV mode there is no slider bar on the side but pretty sure its there in desktop mode.

Under which conditions your TV shows a logo - I can't tell.

What you should see is this toggle going on (if it has been off before):
