I think 1 is the best. Very THX. I can see how that might be the most objectionable to some but for me I'll crank the home theatre just to vibe to that.

Hehe, #1 was the first one I had created and how I thought it should be. The second one was done to make it somewhat less aggressive. The 3rd one resulted from the request to create something more like Netflix.

The intention for #1 was in fact to be somewhat similar to the well-known THX trailer. I also wanted to produce  a 5.1 version where the ding--ding-ding--ding--ding is rotating (FR-RR-RL-FL-ALL) around in the room.

We'll see, maybe it can be optionally added in a future update.

All videos, I don't see any logs in the server side.

The update came through on the Xbox One S and fixed both issues, the jittery H264 playback as well as the AV1 no video issue. However on the Xbox Series X the AV1 playback still gives a black screen, but with audio and subtitles playing normally. Tried resetting the system, removing and reinstalling the app tonight, but still no luck. Is there a version number I should check for in the app to make sure the Series X has updated? I thought removing and re-downloading the app would fix it. Thanks again for the help.

Xbox app > settings > 'play the lottery' > enter your Xbox live email address.

After the upgrade to Emby Windows 2.207.2.0 showing subtitles stopped working. Everything works ok in Emby web player.

If you don't want folks asking for support over the holidays, just say that. I could have waited until after to let you know of the bugs. 

Anyway, problem still exists with the Series X, just getting a black screen on AV1 playback. The One S is working fine with no issues, AV1 and H264.

Just wanted to ask about the subtitles appearance (Font, size, color, border etc...) which was controlled in Emby Theater app through mpv.conf file, is there a similar way in this app?

HI, the app has the same subtitle appearance settings as our other apps.
