Corteq 5 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 This is a fresh install on Windows 2025 Server with Emby Server Version 4.8.10.0 For years I have not included music but this time I thought it would be a good idea as I wish to access music through the Emby Apple TV app at a later date. My testing has been with Edge, Chrome and Emby Theatre. I get the message "No compatible streams are currently available..." There seems to be something basic that I am missing. I can play music directly on the Server using Media Player. It seems to me there should be a transcoder plugin for Emby but I can't find any information about this. Can you please point me in the right direction? Thank you. ffmpeg-transcode-96216416-67d7-415f-95be-f9b28fd907c6_1.txt
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 @CorteqSorry this ffmpeg log is not for a flac file it is for \Star Trek Voyager\Season 7\S07E03.mkv that appears to have played fine. Please post the corresponding server and ffmpeg log for a specific example. But the odds are it usually comes back to encoding or embedded tagging as browser are not very fault tolerant.
Corteq 5 Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 I think I have "partially" solved it. I was accessing the music folders from a network drive. I moved them locally on the server and this worked. We can call this solved for now, but worth noting for anybody else doing this. 1 1
