Gilgamesh_48 1240 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 (edited) The title is poorly worded but I cannot really figure how to word it better. Sorry Sometimes on my Roku Ultras when I exit the playback of a movie and then quickly press OK on the movie poster the resulting screen has no ability to select anything and, if i press back and enter another movie it also shows no moveable highlight bar (cursor) and nothing can be selected. But if I exit the library and reenter it or any other library everything comes back to normal again. It is quite intermittent and hard for me to reproduce but it has been happening for a while and I thought that I should make a report. The server does not matter as it happens on both my beta and release server. I allow my Rokus to update automagically so I am always on the latest build. I have found no other unexpected actions when this happens and everything seem to work fine after exiting the library involved. I have seen this on at least two of my libraries and both are "Movie" libraries. I have never seen it on a TV library or any other type other than Movies. I dislike making this kind of report because of the lack of info I can give but I thought it would be good to get a report out there to allow others, with potentially more info, to report similar happenings. Lastly I mostly watch movies at night in bed and this only seems to happen in the wee hours. I can send a Roku log when it happens but I cannot send any server logs at least until the next day. I am sorry for reporting this with such little info but it is happening only at night and that makes things more difficult. Should I send the Roku logs when it next happens? I am a bit dubious about the logs as the problem is so easily dismissed. Edited December 14, 2024 by Gilgamesh_48
