mintman72 1 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Hello all, I'm currently using Emby v 4.8.10.0 on Android, and I'm trying to download a book from my library to read on my phone. I know I will not be able to read the book utilizing Emby. The problem I am running into is that after downloading the book, it does not show up in the "downloads" tab on the app, and I cannot find it anywhere on my phone to read using an appropriate app. Where are the books being downloaded to on my phone?
Luke 42077 Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Quote it does not show up in the "downloads" tab on the app Hi, I can see why this is happening. We'll get this resolved for the next app update.

mintman72 1 Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 My apologies, I should have been a bit clearer in my request. The only options I have for downloading is for Internal or External (SD Card). The newer Samsung phones do not have an option to install an SD Card into their phones anymore, so that only leaves me as being able to select "internal" for downloads. Does that just mean that I'm outta luck for being able to utilize that feature?

You're currently limited to the folders that the app has permission to write to. We'll get this resolved for the next app update so that they'll show when browsing the downloads library.
