DancingTable 11 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Hello, This seems to be true across macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and TVOS in my testing. When I open the app, it does not sync watch status. So if I watched an episode on another platform, in order to get them synced, I have to force close them and re-open them. As an example: I wanted episode 1 of a show on TV. I open the iPad app, it shows I haven't watched anything. I force close it, and re-open it, now it shows I've watched episode 1. Then I go to watch episode 2 on the iPad. When I go back to the TV, it only shows episode 1 as watched, so I once again have to force close it, and re-open it, to get it to sync. If I go to my iPhone at this point, it will still think I haven't watched any episodes.
Solution DancingTable 11 Posted December 14, 2024 Author Solution Posted December 14, 2024 Disregard, I added a PIN to my account and it started working. Even once I deleted the PIN, it continued to work. I have absolutely no idea what the correlation/causation is there, or if there is one, or if it was totally unrelated, but at least for now it seems to be working again. 2

Works for the Apple Watch as well.
