Migrate Servers using Backup/Restore - Question about license transfer

Question about server migration.  Just built a new computer running Win 11 I want to migrate to from Win 10.  I know that the backup/restore feature is a licensed option. What happens when I license a new server?  Is my old server immediately revoked or is there a window where they can both be licensed and functional at the same time?  It's taken several days in the past for my system to scan the files and start working normally so it would be ideal if I could let the new system build itself and then test all the reverse proxy and everything before shutting the old one down and cutting the IP address over.

You are fine having it on as many servers as you like as device limit applies to key not server.
