user84 46 Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 In an effort to access my media outside of my home, I made some changes to my setup to allow for outside access. Honestly, I don't remember everything I did at this point. But I've decided I only want my media available to me while on my local network. What settings should I check to make sure that my media is not available to anyone but me on my home network?
GrimReaper 4740 Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Settings>Network tab>untick "Allow remote access".

But disabling remote access should be all you need. Note just disabling remote access and ports still open Emby will return FORBIDDEN. Edited December 9, 2024 by Happy2Play
