Support Input Method Editor when "Add to Collection"

I’m not a native English speaker, and the names of my collections aren’t in English. In the Add to Collection dialog, I noticed that you can type directly to search for collections. However, I need to use an Input Method Editor (IME) to enter non-English characters. Unfortunately, the IME doesn’t work in this dialog, so I’m limited to entering text in English.

Since implementing a search bar might not be feasible in the near future, would it be possible to enable IME support? This would allow non-English users to search for collections when adding items.
