Picture in Picture on iPhone not working

hallo guys,

I have iPhone 16 with the latest  iOS version. When I use the Emby app to play movies . I exit the app then the movie plays Picture in Picture mode . But the problem is when I go back to the Emby app the screen turns black and the movie still playing. Anyone have a fix for this issue

Still problem in iOS 18.3.2 and emby 2.2.37 when returning to emby from picture in picture and turning to landscape mode the picture goes black.

Same here. Has been an issue for ages...
