Pietrogramma 3 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hi everyone, on my server I have several audio files (both in wav and flac format) with DTS encoding. In emby (installed on google TV) I created a library which I called "CD DTS" where I grouped all these files. Unfortunately, however, when I start them I don't hear them in DTS (the amplifier is not switched to DTS) but in stereo audio format. If, on the other hand, I listen to them with VLC installed on the googla TV, I hear them in DTS, is there any particular setting I have to do to be able to listen to them in DTS format also on Emby Android? Thank you very much and bye
Luke 42077 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
Pietrogramma 3 Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 (edited) Hi Luke, I attach the log file and thanks for the reply, consider that while the log file was being created, I was listening to a song in .wav DTS format, even though emby made me listen to it as a stereo song and not a DTS one. Consider again that my server is installed on a linux machine with OpenMediaVault and Emby is installed on docker. I connect to the server with a Google TV and I can easily watch videos in DTS and DD format and in this case I listen to the videos correctly with DTS or DD encoding. Only with music tracks do I have this problem. Thanks and ciao embyserver.txt Edited December 5, 2024 by Pietrogramma
Luke 42077 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 @Pietrogramma Hi. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.
