Enter Pin Code error...

Hi Everyone,

Happy Holidays!

I'm a newbie to Emby since Plex got too weird for me. After enjoying the app for a few weeks I just got a message on my TV to either scan a QR code or enter a pin code on a browser. Then I got this error message:   "Invalid User Name or Password. Do you need to register?"

Well, I know my sign in so, what gives?   Has anyone run into this? 

Any response will be appreciated...

Hi, the login screen you are referring to is expecting Emby Connect credentials. Is that what you entered, or did you enter local user credentials from  your Emby Server?

Did you install your own server, with your own media, on your own hardware ?

Or have you access to someone else's server ?

If someone else's have a talk with them.

OK so you most likely haven't setup Emby Connect:

Emby Connect

It's not required, so what you can do from inside the app is click Skip and then do a manual connection to your Emby Server.
