Some titles do not appear in "Latest Added"

Some titles don't appear in Latest Added and I noticed that emby adds an incorrect date, this happens with random titles, for example this one that I just added right now and it's because emby gave me the added date 3/21/2019 0:24

What is your "Date added behavior" set to in Settings>Library tab in the sidebar>Advanced tab top of the screen?

It is likely set to "File creation date", you'd need "Date scanned into library" there.

Thank you, I placed it as you indicated, I will observe it and comment if it is solved.

Please note that changing that setting will only apply to new content added going forward.

I am having the same problem. I see this on a movie that I added recently.

"Media Info

MKV15.9 GB Added 12/29/2014 3:37 PM"

I can't imagine this emby  instance is ten years old. Pretty sure I started over recently. Maybe not. Does Emby hang on to the date that a movie was added if I remove it and then re add it years later? Because I added like ten movies the other day, and five showed up in latest movies. The rest I can find but have to search. I think I may have had them in the past.

Hopefully the setting above solves this going forward? Is there a way to set something so when a movie is removed the date resets if it is added again?

Probably the only time you would want to flip that setting is if you were setting up from scratch or reloading a library and you want it to use the file date so everything doesn't look like you just added it.  Then after loading the library, flip it back again.

I could see that.
