How to get Emby to pull embedded image of an mp4's metadata

I have a "Mixed Content" library for my movies and TV shows, no matter what combination of settings I do and tick, Emby will NOT pull any images from the metadata of the file. I have all of my images embedded into the mp4 file itself, yet Emby does not seem to be able to read this.

I could be wrong as i do not use embedded  meta data at all but I believe that mp4s are not one of the formats Emby can read metadata from. MKVs Yes. MP4s no.

But I will obviously defer to experts (X-Spurts) as they expound upon the intricacies of embedded metadata.

X is a mathematical term for something unknown.
Spurt is a drip of water under pressure.
Therefore an X-Spurt is an unknown drip under pressure.
