Synology NAS emby set up Help!

I have been attempting to get emby on my Synology NAS DSM Version 7.2.2-72806 Update 1 for several weeks now. When opening the emby server on my nas redirects me to emby website requesting me to log into my server.It will not accept my server log in credentials. It replies with "sign-in error". Am I missing something?

Hi,

What do you mean by redirecting?  Is it redirecting you to the login page on your own server or to Emby Connect?

If your own server, try opening a "New InPrivate window" in Edge and going to http://yourserver:port and it should give you the login.
If you can't login with your normal or admin user account, use the "Admin Password Reset"

Did you try a "New InPrivate window" or Incognito private session entering your server IP:port on your home LAN?
That should not redirect from an old cache.

Make sure to test in a browser and not an app.

Is your server available to access from the Internet?
If so, send me a PM with your server IP and port.  I don't need to login but want to see if I can see what you're seeing.

Thanks for sending that to me.  I've tried it a few times yesterday evening and this morning using a 5 different browser in normal and private mode and I've not seen anything resembling any type of redirect.  What I get is a URL of:

http://x.x.x.x:8096/web/index.html#!/startup/manuallogin.html?serverId=13eb872ddf54a4d5f94f1c6eace14c2b
obfuscated serverId.
IP was the same as you provided but X out above.

That is definitely a local login.

Can you post here or send me a PM with the URL you get when using the URL you sent me?  (X out the IP, change the ServerId) if posting here in the forum.
Post a screen shot like above as well.
