Next Up feature is bugged

Hi,

 

im using an Nvidia Shield Pro with the Emby app.

‘Play Next Episode Automatically’ unchecked

‘Show Up Next Preview’ checked

sadly it doesn’t come up.

id like to be able to see the up next preview so I can manually start the next episode if I choose to, and if I don’t then it stops playback. I like falling asleep to it without it playing the whole season.

Hi, where are you pressing play?

So when an episode finishes the playback stops and I have to manually scroll to the next episode on the carousel then click it, then when it changes to that episode with the description etc I click play there.

when I have ‘Play Next Episode Automatically’ enabled, the Up Next feature appears before the episode ends and works perfectly. Sadly it doesn’t appear if I have it disabled.

Right OK. It shows you a next button for the next item in your play queue, not the series episode list.

To get the episodes in your play queue, you either need to enable play next episode automatically, or press play from the series screen.

Ok so if I press play from the series screen, will it still stop after the episode has finished? 
 

is there a way to make it come up without stuff in the queue? I feel like logically it makes sense for it to know what the next episode is whether it’s in a queue or not. 
 

Or at least have some sort of button permanently on the android app player to be able to skip to the next episode.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Have you tried pressing UP on the remote to see the Next Episode's Preview?

There is a little UP arrow/chevron when Play Next Up is displayed, which will then show the preview/synopsis.

No need to add another app.
