Returning user, cannot connect to server

Hello here,

I'm using Plex but want to test Emby again. I have create an account long ago, but do not remember the password, so want to create a new account.
I have installed Emby on my Synology DS218, but i cannot have access to it.

When i launch Emby from the DS218 interface, i have my old account.

And https://app.emby cannot have acces to my server.

Any help .

Hi,

You would need to use your old Emby Connect username  if it's still tied to your local server username.
If that doesn't work then you may want to use the Admin Password Reset.

@Qsi.Sensatethat's not an old account, that's your old server installation. If you want to start fresh, try deleting the server data folder:

Your screen shots shows your server is local.  You just need to go to the location on your server for the Emby files.  The link from Luke above describes how to get to these files.  I think it's important to realize that following these instructions is a skill set you would need to be able to run Emby and adjust it, as needed.  Or, perhaps find an assistant with computer background to help with your media server.

Good news, i have recovered my password, from my old local account.
 

I used this process :

 

Was i little bit afraid of enabling admin account on my Synology NAS, but it was fine.

I have now acces to Emby again, will try it.
