Recently however during hurricane Helene I lost internet for over a month. Emby was working well for a bit, but after a while I guess the server was unable to phone home and I lost access to Emby premiere. Then I was unable to play movies on my Nvidia shields and other android devices. This combined with no internet was very disappointing. I've tried out Jellyfin, but it was definitely more rough around the edges and the Android apps were not as good. Still, I may end up biting the bullet and switching over unless someone has some other suggestions to not be locked out of my local media library if I don't have internet access.
