Config Restore From Network Share

Hello, trying to restore from a network share. New Emby Server is in a Proxmox Container. I noticed that when you add a library and put \\ it prompts for username and password.

I cannot for the life of me access the folder where my config backups are stored in the config backup/restore app. I do have my premiere key installed already to use the app. It does not prompt for a username or password when I try to put in the network share location or even the \\. I have tried numerous different ways to share the folder. From allowing guest access to the NAS and copying the folder to my computer and sharing a folder from there. Emby simply will not access any share. Any idea on how to get access, or even thoughts on a temporary setup  so that I can at least do an initial restore of the server.

The container gets backed up, so future backups can just be internal to the container.

I would mount the network share on your host OS level.

And share that mount point with the container.

Hi, for the backup location, yes this is what I would suggest doing.

@ZACHxAxROOplease let us know if this helps. Thanks.

I feel like an idiot for not even thinking this! Have a whole cluster running and forgot about mounting it on the host first. Literally just looked at the container resources and there it is, the mount point option that utilizes host mounts and storage.

Its Friday, feels like a Monday. Thank you both.
