@LukeCan we get the fix for the Intel problem that the other media center software have?

It started out with just Arc cards but now seems like more and more people are having problems even with Intel iGPUs.
If a fix from your side could be made, and it does look like it's possible, it would be absolutely wonderful!

Hi, I would second this, please.
I've downgraded kernels, reinstalled drivers and still can't get OpenCL Tone Mapping to work, and the log points at the exact same symptom described here.
It looks like Jellyfin has a fix but I'd rather stay with Emby.

Thanks

Thanks for this @Luke. Could you please share how we are meant to use it? Does it need to be configured? Thanks

There's nothing to configure. They are applied automatically and the gpu drivers will pick them up.

Thanks for this.
I have tried again today and HW transcoding still seems to break when Tone Mapping is enabled (resulting in SW transcoding happening and hammering my CPU)

This is what I believe is the relevant error (also attached the original file for reference)

Hi, in the near future we'll have an updated ffmpeg build on the server beta channel, just FYI.

Which beta version is the most "stable" that solves this problem or approximately when will the stable version be released?

I've got the latest beta and this doesn't seem solved.

How can we help you and the development team to resolve the tone mapping issue for Intel Arc cards as quickly as possible?

Hi, the best way to help is to be ready to provide feedback on the beta channel as soon as we have this in. Thanks !
