The app is available now.

I've downloaded, entered my pin, but can't connect to my server...

Now I can't even enter text into the Host for the server IP... I just get a little white box with a yellow exclamation mark triangle. Restarting TV doesn't help. TV & remote on latest firmware. Tried wired & wifi.

Hi, can you please show a screenshot example? Thanks.

Have you setup https on your server? I wonder if these devices will only allow connections to https addresses.

I plugged in a USB keyboard so I can at least type; but trying IP or DNS name results in the above screenshot

I think I'm on http (lan only) - how do I change to https?

OK I've sent a message to titan developers asking if communication to http addresses is allowed or not. We'll see what they say.

I quickly setup https on my server. It works from other devices on the LAN, but Emby on my TitanOS TV still does not work ("we're unable to connect to the selected server right now...")

Hi, thanks for adding the app. I tried the app today and i'm also having trouble using the local IP.
When i enter 192.168.x.x:8096, i get an error message, but i have found that when i use my public IP and the standard Emby HTTP port (8096), i can connect to the server successfully and everything works.

They responded and said it should be able to connect to LAN ip addresses, but I will have to let them know that it's not working. Thanks.

Same for me. I am using Emby only locally and not over https. Also to enter the IP is not possible with the remote, the keypad shows up very quickly an disapears, had to connect a USB keyboard.

@Funkieare you able to connect?

Hi Luke

Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been away with work.

App is available to me now, the keyboard works without issue with my remote but I cannot connect via any means.

I have tried local ip on both 8096 and 8920, I have tried my external url on 443 and I have tried the connect option entering a pin via https://emby.media/pin but it is not connecting.

The add server screen is where I end up after using the pin to connect, click on add server and we are back to the manual connect to server screen

As the other user has mentioned, try using your remote address, assuming that you’ve setup remote access on your server.

Hi Luke

If that message was for me, I explained in my previous post that I have tried all methods to connect including external address.

I have emby on multiple devices connected on the internal network and my tablet is connected via external address, everything works as expected except this Philips tv with titan os.
I have another Philips tv that has google tv os and that works as normal, as I said its just the titan os device with the issue.

Let me know if you need any specific device details or further testing carried out.
