Better Navigation in Guide between pc and android Tv

Hi all,

let me explain. I have two tuner sources

1) My homerun HD device

2) M3u Playlist that has categories for programming.

I have 2 sources for epg

When I go to guide on PC I have an "all" selection on a slide bar that will show my local HD HOme run channels with epg.

When I go to guide on Android TV the  "All" is not available and none of my guide data shows for my HD Home run device. Also in Android TV none of it has a slide bar.

I would love to see both of those features in the Android TV apk.

On both I can select groups but never can I get any guide listings from my HD home run except on a web login for pc. I cannot see my epg or channels when using Android TV.

Maybe this isn't a feature request but maybe overlooked?

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Hi, this is where I downloaded from - The google play store. Although Emby comes up two times.

Which one should i grab?

Two versions show on the google play store that are for Android.

I have the Android TV one currently.

The devs are suggesting you install the non-TV variant and see how it compares. You can install and run both apps.

I installed the other version, but I am still not getting the epg from my first tuner so I can't tune any channels from it. 

I reloaded tuner and epg guide in live tv. I still don't see a slide bar or anything that says "any" on the available options.

Ans I don't want to but it's the only way I can get the first tuner to show epg and be able to tune the channel.

Yes here is a screen shot. I have one channel cbs from my first tuner because I put a tag on it. After that only lists tuner 2. It's missing 579 channels from tuner 1

Maybe you have a filter activated? Try clicking the sort button next to the date. What does the resulting dialog look like?

I uninstalled all versions of emby and reinstalled the current version reset everything up with tuners and live and now I have my content. It's still a bit clumsy to manage between tuners but it's working now. Thank You so much for your assistance.

I like the program, but I am finding its not very friendly to find content unless you have tags on the channels. That's not a huge issue. I will just have to go through

and make tags for each network.

HI, this isn't true. You do not need tags. I think we need to better understand what you're doing that's making you feel like this is a requirement, because it is not.
