Local\URL M3u any differences in settings to use ?

Hi,

I've a trouble with an m3u

 (see the attach image) If I download the m3u from the URL and upload to emby server, it works.

If i put the URL directly of the m3u it will not works, results in channels do not populate.

Is there a particular settings to set for the URL version ?

I dunno if I can post the URL here or not, so let me know.

Hi,

Send me a PM with the URL you're trying to configure. I'll take a look and see what the issue is.
They might be doing a redirect, might need agent or referrrer headers
If they gave you an XML file for guide data, send me that one also and I'll make sure they both work for you.

Carlo gently tried and on the latest beta .31 all working from URL too... Is it possible to implement that part on the stable build roadmap too?

The beta will become the release at some point.
BTW, if you upgraded your server to the beta branch, don't revert it back unless you backed everything and can restore it.
You can sometimes get away with doing this, but it's not a supported practice nor is it in anyway endorsed,
