Playlist Backup

I am sorry if this has been asked before, but can someone tell me where my playlists are backed up to, or are they being backed up? I am spending a ton of time creating my playlists, organizing music, etc... It would be a disaster if my PC crashed and I had to recover. I'd hope I could restore all my hard work too... Please let me know if this is possible...

Hi, they get saved as m3u files in the userplaylists folder underneath the server data folder:

Oh ok so they are backed up automatically? Now can I back up that info in case of a crash?

Well that's more like the primary storage for them then a backup I would say. If you want a second copy, the server backup feature can help with that.

Ok I’ll check that out, so I’m assuming if there was a crash that I could restore from the back up, but my files would need to be in the same location/path?

Correct.

Where would I find this setting "This will not backup library contents and metadata. To keep a permanent copy of metadata, we suggest enabling saving of local metadata to media folders. The plug-in also does not backup live TV recording settings or series at this time."
